The trauma and psycho-sociological effects of the
September 11 brought chilling perspective and meaning of life to the American
citizens and world over alike. Even though tragedy strucked and the citizens
were in somber and mourning mood, the then American president George Bush jnr
made an assurance that the attackers would be pursued and thus Americans should
not panic. The attempt to pacify the population was an act of breaking the
monotony of terror aftermath thereby urging people to continue with their
normal lives for their security is guaranteed. This day and indeed the month of
tragedy occurrence was a long month for the American people were in every way
sleepless with endless thoughts and it can be described in relation to Adam's
lines in the poem 'Remember June's long days' and 'The abandoned homesteads of
exiles' that depicts the ruins of the building after bombing as the surrounding
area was evacuated and for long had no signs of inhabitation except the rescue
teams.
In 1985, Payton was a key part of the
Super Bowl champion Chicago Bears, who went 15-1 in the regular season and
smashed the New England Patriots 46-10 in Super Bowl XX. In a game where just
about everyone scored (even defensive player William "Refrigerator"
Perry got a running touchdown), Payton did not. Coach Mike Ditka and teammates
didn't realize it, and say it's one of their few regrets of one of the most
dominant football teams ever. To people of my father's generation (Payton's
comtemporaries or slightly older), he was one of the great backs of their time.
He always looked (and played) strong. His stamina and health throughout his
career was notable, considering his aggressive style of play. And here he was
in 1999, frail, weak, and almost helpless. We'd hear people talk about how
great he once was in a fashion that people in 2001 tell their kids about Tony
Gwynn or Emmitt Smith in their primes. My main memory of Payton is that he was
a pain to tackle in the NES video game Tecmo Bowl. And here he was, younger
than my father, and very sick. It was stomach-turning. discount

But that's just the tip of the
outrageous iceberg. A master swordsman in more ways than one, Hanzo keeps his
greatest and biggest weapon tucked beneath his kimono. He gives his nightstick
a daily workout that involves beating it with a board and pounding it into a
bag of rice. His technique is to use his peacemaker on female suspects, making
them his personal sex slaves. More SHAFT than SHOGUN, SWORD bounces along to a
funky theme provided by psychedelic rock band the Mops, the Get Down music
swelling every time Hanzo starts to question a lady in his own special way.
There's also some terrific action, gadgetry, evidence tattooed on a woman in
flesh-colored ink, and more wild surprises, all delivered with deadpan
seriousness and strange camera angles by longtime Katsu collaborator Kenji

filmmakers would take things way too far within a few
years, displaying a fascination with rape fantasy disturbing to most Western
viewers, but Katsu still has enough class to keep his tongue in cheek, while
taking things a few steps beyond the borders of Batman and James Bond.
